North Fayette Township

Like most townships, North Fayette is virtually older than dirt. And like most townships in this part of the county, North Fayette was originally part of Moon, which was one of the original townships which existed when Allegheny County was created.

According to a 2004 Post Gazette article on Western Allegheny County, North Fayette is said to have had the most recorded Indian attacks in the county's history. Whether or not these occurred within the large commercial district surrounding The Mall at Robinson is not specified, but Jared and Sam's Club are likely targets.
