Oakmont

Oakmont is best known for its golf course, the Oakmont County Club, most of which lies in Plum Borough. Unlike us, the U.S. Open golf tournament has been a regular to Oakmont in the past.

We couldn't leave Oakmont without reminiscing of Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl's controversial escapade at the golf course several months ago. Allegedly the mayor snuck, uninvited, into a private event at the course in order to get a picture with Tiger Woods. In this picture, Brendan is following Luke out of the bushes and gets ready to get a quick picture with Tiger Woods.

We can assure you that if we saw Tiger Woods, we would insist upon a picture in front of a municipality sign.
