Borough of Tarentum

Tarentum is an old mill town that specialized in the coal mining and salt works industries. It features both riverfront and traintrackfront property, as well as a nice municipal park.

This park in Tarentum has at least half a dozen war memorial monuments and plaques, including this actual World War II tank. Miller stands sentinel, insuring that any Nazis headed down the Allegheny will be blasted into oblivion.
